About the Intercessory Prayer Revival
The Intercessory Prayer Summit (2013–Present)
In 2013, the Lord spoke clearly to Dr. Tonya Williams and instructed her to begin what would become the Intercessory Prayer Summit. With no blueprint other than His voice, she took a step of faith and hosted the first gathering in New York in September 2013. What began as an act of obedience quickly became something much greater.
Year after year, as she followed God’s instructions wholeheartedly, the summit continued to grow, traveling across New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts while remaining rooted in New York as its home base. Each gathering became more than a meeting place. It became a place of encounter where the presence of God met His people in undeniable ways. Lives were changed, hearts were restored, prayer lives were reignited, ministries were birthed, and intercessors were raised and strengthened in their calling.
This was never just a conference. It became a place where people encountered God and were transformed by His presence. Over the years, many voices have poured into this gathering, but the true signature of the summit has always been the presence of God.
The Lord gave Dr. Williams a word to anchor the summit: like Moses building the tabernacle according to God's pattern, His glory would similarly rest upon this work. As she followed His instructions wholeheartedly, His presence would rest upon it.
And that has been the evidence of every gathering. Because of obedience, God has been faithful to meet His people. Because of alignment, His presence has remained. For over 13 years, the Intercessory Prayer Summit has stood as a place where God’s presence dwells, where lives are rebuilt, and where intercessors are strengthened for their assignment.
About Dr. Tonya Williams
Dr. Tonya Williams is the Founder and Pastor of Releasing Living Waters Ministries, a leader called to restore lives through prayer, prophetic insight, and spiritual alignment. Her journey into ministry has been marked by a deep and consistent call to intercession. Not just to pray, but to stand in the gap, to discern, and to call God’s people back to the altar. As a prophetic intercessor, watchman, and gatekeeper, she carries a strong prayer mantle and a clear assignment: to help individuals reconnect with God in a real and transformative way.
Through her ministry, many have been awakened to their calling, strengthened in their prayer lives, and equipped to move with clarity and confidence in what God has placed on their lives. Her approach is both spiritual and practical, helping people not only understand prayer but also live it out daily.
As a speaker and teacher, Dr. Williams ministers with both weight and clarity. Her voice carries urgency, calling this generation back to discipline, intimacy, and a lifestyle of prayer. She bridges the gap between spiritual understanding and real-life application, ensuring that what is taught is not only heard but lived.
At the core of her work is a commitment to building people, strengthening the body of Christ, and raising intercessors who are equipped, positioned, and prepared for this hour.

The Shift: From Summit to Revival
As plans were already underway for the 2026 Intercessory Prayer Summit, everything seemed to be progressing as in previous years. But in the midst of preparation, the Lord interrupted the plan and stressed that this would not be another summit. The event would be a revival.
There was a deeper need and a more urgent call. The Lord began to reveal that many had grown distant in their walk with Him. The fire had dimmed, the connection had weakened, and what was once alive in the spirit had, for many, grown quiet, almost as if the heartbeat of prayer had slowed. The message was clear. His people did not need another gathering. They needed to be revived.
As I continued to pray, the Lord began to deal with me about the altar's condition. In many places, the altar, the sacred place of encounter, had been replaced. What was once a space for prayer, surrender, and transformation had, in some cases, become a stage. A place of presentation rather than a place of true ministry.
But the altar is where we meet God. It is the place of exchange, the place of encounter, and the place where lives are changed. This shift to revival is a call to return. A return to prayer. A return to intimacy. A return to the place where our connection with God is restored. It is a call to those who know there is more, to those who feel the distance, and to those who desire to reconnect with God in a real and authentic way.
As Scripture reminds us, “If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14).
This is that moment. A moment to return, a moment to rebuild, and a moment to be revived.
The Intercessory Prayer Revival is not just a gathering. It is a response to the call of God to restore His people back to Himself.
What This Means for You
The Intercessory Prayer Revival is an invitation.
An invitation to RETURN.
An invitation to RECONNECT.
An invitation to REBUILD.
Whether you have been consistent in prayer or feel you have drifted away, this is an opportunity to return to a place where your relationship with God is strengthened and restored.
THIS IS THE YEAR TO BUILD!
God is not just rebuilding walls—He is rebuilding His people.
He is calling His intercessors, His prayer warriors, and those who are called by His name back to the altar.
If your fire has dimmed…
If your connection has weakened…
If the place of prayer has become unfamiliar…
This is your call to return.
Not later. Not someday. NOW.
